La ciudad de Cartagena dentro de su diversidad y riqueza cultural se ubica el barrio del Pozón; estigmatizado por su carácter de delincuencia y violencia. Sin embargo, en el proceso de conocer el lugar, los habitantes se han esforzado por mejorar su calidad de vida dando uso del manglar y de otros recursos. 

Es en este sentido como la arquitectura entra a aportar en un déficit evidente en el lugar, no solo de habitabilidad sino ademas de productividad.

The city of Cartagena within its diversity and cultural richness is located the neighborhood of Pozón; stigmatized by his character of crime and violence. However, in the process of knowing the place, the inhabitants have strived to improve their quality of life by using mangroves and other resources. It is in this sense that architecture comes to contribute in an evident deficit in the place, not only of habitability but also of productivity.
